Shah Rukh Khan recently revealed that he had initially planned for his son, Aryan Khan, to work at Netflix in the US. Speaking at the Next on Netflix event, SRK shared that he had discussions with Netflix executives Ted Sarandos and Bela Bajaria about getting Aryan an assistant role at the streaming giant. However, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted these plans, leading Aryan to return to India.

Instead, Aryan focused on writing and directing his debut series, The B**ds of Bollywood*, backed by Red Chillies Entertainment and co-created by Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan. The project is produced by Gauri Khan and marks Aryan’s first venture as a filmmaker.
